Python Beamforming software

Originating from interest I started developing a Python version of the beamforming software. I'll put the source code on Dropbox and your welcome to share your ideas on this here.

Very cool, I am very interested to see what you have been up to with that and get to know python a bit

admin, can you change your name to Kirk? (assuming that you are indeed our good friend Kirk and not some crazy dude fooling us all)

I did a simple test on the same data set, same beamformer, same settings (same everything was the goal) an compared the speed. It's looking good:

python linux: 0.52s
python windows 0.78s
matlab windwos 1.55

I'll redo this test but with higher resolution==computing time. see how it evolves.
